Named one of America’s most influential
Motivational Speakers and Authors, Dr. Carlton Young served 22 years in the
United States Marine Corps, and was awarded the ‘Soldiers Medal for Heroism” in
Vietnam. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April of 2001;
Dr. Young’s
cancer came from direct exposure to Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. Dr.
Young underwent a radical prostatectomy and was noted to have numerous
unfavorable pathological features that predict for recurrence. Since being diagnosed with prostate cancer, Dr. Young has been on a mission to share his journey with prostate cancer with men everywhere in hopes of educating and bring awareness to men and Men's Health.
